Thomas O’Malley has been named as a partner with law firm Philip Lee, focusing on real estate. Previously a real estate partner at McDowell Purcell (now Fieldfisher), he brings 30 years of experience to the role. He specialises in commercial real estate with a focus on social housing and property development. He acts for investment funds, property developers, housing and State bodies on large-scale, mixed retail, commercial, and residential projects, plus the property elements of renewable energy projects. He holds an LLB from TCD, he is also a CEDR (Centre for Effective Resolution Dispute) Mediator, which enables him to advise on a variety of property-related disputes.

Wayne de Vos has been appointed as senior technical consultant with Paradyn, the end-to-end IT and communications company. He will lead the firm’s technical consultancy team. He brings 16 years technical experience in IT. He has worked with enterprise level clients operating on a global scale. He joined Paradyn earlier this year, following eight years with Eurosteel Group, as head of IT. He has also held a senior role with South African ICT firm Business Connexion, and has held roles with SPAR Group and Dulux Paints. He holds an Advanced Server Design certification from Microsoft, and he is also a Veeam Certified System Engineer.
