Merger involving Just Eat and Dutch rival will form world's biggest food delivery firm

Just Eat has provisionally agreed to a €9bn merger with a Dutch rival.

The deal would set up one of the world's largest food delivery companies.

Discussions with Takeaway.com have been ongoing for several weeks.

Together they operate in more than 20 countries, including Ireland, the UK, Australia, France, Brazil, Mexico and Israel.
