€10m invested in Lahinch as resort prepares for 100,000 golf fans

The staging of the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open at Lahinch is having “a transformative effect” on the seaside resort of Lahinch.

That is according to local hotelier, Michael Vaughan who said today that around €10 million has been invested by the public and private sector in the resort in the past year as the resort readies itself for the staging of the competition.
