Irish construction company Ardmac has announced the creation of 70 new jobs as part of its expansion in Cork and Amsterdam this year.

The company, which is headquartered in Dublin, has 30 directly employed staff currently working on projects across Cork and will aim to add 20 employees to its new office there over the next three years.

The additional roles across its Irish and European operations will bring the total number of Ardmac employees to 380 by the end of 2019.

Ardmac provides specialist construction services to the commercial fit out, life sciences and Data Centre sectors and also has offices in Manchester, Craigavon and Brussels.

As part of its recruitment, it is looking for Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors and Design Engineers.

Ronan Quinn, Chief Executive of Ardmac, said: “It’s an exciting time for Ardmac and I am proud to announce our plans for 2019, following a successful year of business growth for the company.

"The markets we serve are providing sustainable opportunities and the demand for our services continues.

"We are seeking talented individuals to join our experienced teams, with the aim of growing our Irish, UK and European operations over the coming year and beyond," he said.
