LloydsPharmacy seeking voluntary redundancies

One of the country's biggest pharmacy chains is looking for staff to take voluntary redundancy.

LloydsPharmacy says the savings will allow it to offer better pay and conditions to its remaining workers, who have held a number of strikes in recent months.

Two more work stoppages are planned next week, by staff represented by the Mandate trade union.
