Research by a supermarket has that found people are no longer embarrassed about buying reduced food.

UK chain Waitrose says 53% of shoppers buy items with yellow stickers more often than they did five years ago.

Its study also suggests people are less snobbish about budget ranges but are still reluctant to compromise on things like meat, wine and toilet rolls.
