It has been announced that Newstalk CEO Tim Collins is to step down with immediate effect.

It has been announced that Newstalk CEO Tim Collins is to step down with immediate effect.

RTE reports that his departure was announced this morning after just over a year in the role.

Mr Collins will remain with Communicorp, the company that owns Newstalk, Today FM, 98FM, and Spin 1038, in a consultative role.
