450 new jobs announced for Cork

450 jobs are being announced for Cork.

A new €30m office block is to be constructed in the city's South Mall which the backers say will help revive the area.

JCD has lodged its planning application and its hoped if the project is given the green light it'll be completed by late summer 2018.

The company says the five story block will be a state of the art office space.
