Facebook has agreed to hold off collecting data from people who use WhatsApp.

Facebook has agreed to hold off collecting data from people who use WhatsApp.

Changes to the messaging service's policy were announced in August but the watchdog doesn't think users know enough about what will happen to their information.

Neither Facebook or WhatsApp have yet responded to the Information Commissioner.
