Richard Bruton: Bad politics' can't be allowed into Brexit negotations
The Education Minister says 'bad politics' can't be allowed to creep in to the Brexit negotiations.
Richard Bruton believes the political aspect to Britain's exit from the EU will be harder to manage than the economic fallout.
British Prime Minister Theresa May announced she wants the 2 year separation process to begin in March.
Minister Richard Bruton says the best deal possible needs to be secured for Ireland: "A lot of people depend on the decisions that we will be taking in the coming years and I would be of the view that we can manage the economics of this if people approach it in a proper fashion and don't allow, you know, the real risk in this is bad politics the economics is more easy than the politics and I think that we need to manage that."
