Ireland sees 13% increase in tourists numbers in 2015

Eight million tourists visited Ireland in 2015 according to Fáilte Ireland.

That is up 13% since last year.

Tourism brought in an extra €6bn to the Irish economy in 2015 - an increase of 16%.

Most tourists visiting Ireland are from the UK followed by mainland Europe and then North America.
