Enterprise Ireland ready to work with Irish exporters no matter how the Brexit vote goes
The head of Enterprise Ireland has said there is still a lot to play for as far as the Brexit vote is concerned.
Their Annual Business Review shows that exports by Irish companies exceeded €20bn, with the biggest growth markets last year being the US and Canada.
However, the UK market still buys the highest amount of Irish exports, at €7.5bn.
CEO of Enterprise Ireland Julie Sinnamon (pictured) said that if Britain leaves the EU, Irish companies will still be supported.
"The sentiment seems to be moving in terms of the Remain campaign, but either way we will be working with Irish companies to address the outcome," she said.
