Index sees consumer sentiment dropping to 14-month low

Irish consumer sentiment slipped to a 14-month low in May.

The latest KBC Bank/ESRI Consumer Sentiment Index shows no dramatic deterioration in circumstances, but a downgrading of the outlook for jobs and household finances.

The economic recovery is also seen to have under-delivered in terms of spending power.
