Former Anglo Irish Bank to pay €275m to the State this year

The liquidators of the former Anglo Irish Bank are to pay €275m to the State this year.

The payment is just over a tenth of all the cash that IBRC currently has on hand.

The bank is still being wound down and making payments to creditors, of which the State is the biggest one.

The details are contained in an interim report which also indicates that the bank has resolved around half of all its ongoing legal cases.
