Suir Pharma to let 130 staff go in Co Tipperary
Suir Pharma has confirmed 130 staff have been made redundant at its Co Tipperary plant.
Michael McAteer was appointed as liquidator to its Clonmel operations by the High Court yesterday.
Mr McAteer has now met with the employees to discuss their options - some of these will be rehired - in order to make the plant more attractive to buyers.
The firm has said it will advertise the sale of the facility as a going concern in the coming days.
