Intel expected to cut 10% of Irish workforce
It is expected that Intel will cut 10% of its Irish workforce.
Reports suggest the company has begun informing employees about the redundancy plans.
It is now understood that a total of 400 workers at the European Headquarters in Leixlip, along with those in Intel’s Shannon and Cork plants, are to face redundancy as part of the company's global restructuring plan.
4,000 permanent staff are employed in plants across Ireland.
