Aer Lingus in top 10 European airlines according to passenger reviews

Aer Lingus has made it onto a list of the top 10 European carriers based on passenger reviews.

The data was compiled for online travel agency eDreams.

Luxembourg's Luxair was first while Aer Lingus came in at number seven in the top 10.

The top 10 airlines in Europe based on reviews left by more than 90,000 eDreams customers last year are:

1. Luxair, Luxembourg

2. Austrian Airlines, Austria

3. Swiss International Air Lines, Switzerland

4. Aegean Airlines, Greece

5. Lufthansa, Germany

6. Turkish Airlines, Turkey

7. Aer Lingus, Ireland
