Crew taking legal action against airlines over 'toxic cabin air'

Legal action is being taken against a number of UK airlines on behalf of 61 cabin crew after they were exposed to "toxic cabin air" while working onboard aircraft.

Unite said concern has been mounting over "fume events" and exposure to contaminated cabin air, with the number of legal cases being pursued by the union increasing from 17 in recent months. Unite is also calling for an independent inquiry into the issue.
