Dublin Airport set for busiest day of the year

Dublin Airport is expecting its busiest Christmas ever, with 925,000 passengers due to pass through the facility.

The DAA has said passenger numbers are up 18% compared with last year.

Today is the busiest day of the Christmas period for Dublin Airport as people welcome home their loved ones.

Later today choirs from local schools will be on-hand to create a festive atmosphere for those arriving home for Christmas.
