Nissan reports profits increase

Nissan's profit for the July to September quarter has jumped 38%.

The substantial rise has been helped by healthy sales in China, the US and Europe and a favourable exchange rate.

The profit increase has led Nissan to raise its projections to $4.4bn profit for the year to March 2016, an increase of 17%on the previous year.
