ABP Food Group to invest €50m in Tipperary facilities
ABP Food Group is to invest €50m in the redevelopment of its facilities at Cahir in Co Tipperary.
The upgrade has already created 152 jobs, with more expected in future.
The plant is one of the biggest employers in Tipperary, with 615 staff.
It is thought the Larry Goodman-owned beef processor's redevelopment will be worth over one billion to the economy over the next five years.
The plans will be officially launched by the Taoiseach Enda Kenny and the Minister for Jobs Richard Bruton today.
