Uber receive heavy Californian fine

Taxi booking app Uber has been fined almost €6.5m by officials in California for not telling them enough about the way it operates.

A judge ruled the company had not completed all the necessary paperwork and had failed to report details of accidents.

Uber has described the fine as “deeply disappointing”.
