Professional job recruitment up 19%

Recruitment figures appear to show strong growth in the number of professional jobs being created here.

A monthly employment monitor from recruitment agency Morgan McKinley shows a 19% rise in the number of professional positions available last month, compared to June last year.

Finance and IT were the most buoyant sectors in the first half of the year according to the report's authors.

They also point to the growing number of employers seeking people with more than one language - especially Dutch, German and Nordic languages.
