More than half of Irish Government bonds held by non-residents

The Central Bank has revealed details of the holders of Irish Government bonds.

Some 58.9% of bonds (€73bn) are held by non-residents, while those owned by Irish people are mainly held by credit institutions and the Central Bank of Ireland.
