Almost everyone planning a holiday this summer

More than nine out of 10 Irish people are planning a holiday this summer (93%).

Of those, most - 94% - say they will kit themselves out in new clothes beforehand.

A survey by LifeStyle Sports has found four out of five of us will fork out up to €200 on a holiday wardrobe each year.

It also found that people spend an average of eight weeks perfecting their beach body, while eight out of 10 have had holiday romances.
