Honohan to face questions at banking inquiry about 2010 bailout interview

The Central Bank’s governor will face questions at the banking inquiry today about the interview he gave in 2010 which was one of the first admissions that Ireland was about to be bailed out.

Patrick Honohan’s phone call on RTE radio came after many Ministers denied the Government was in talks with the Troika.
