Almost one in three women who are company directors say there is still a glass ceiling in Irish business.

According to a study by the Institute of Directors, more than half of those surveyed believe women did not get the same access to information as men when it came to vacancies on boards.

It comes as hundreds of Irish businesswomen gather for the Image Business Breakfast networking event in Dublin.

Vodafone Ireland CEO Anne O'Leary said: "The cultures that were in a lot of companies did not support women, but that has changed so much."
