Tendering process for 10% of bus routes to be outlined

The National Transport Authority will outline the tendering process for 10% of bus routes today.

The NBRU and SIPTU are threatening industrial action next month in protest at the planned privatisation.

The National Bus and Rail workers Union is also taking legal action against the move.

The NTA's chief executive Anne Graham will explain the background to the tendering process this morning.
