Ireland's cost of borrowing has fallen below 1% for the first time.

The yield on our 10-year Government bonds fell to 0.97% this morning.

It is being seen as a result of comments from the head of the US Federal Reserve yesterday which indicated interest rate rises there would happen later, rather than sooner.
