The significant rise in the number of cafés, sandwich bars, coffee shops and deli’s may be a signal that the economy is recovering but if these businesses want to survive and thrive, there is a must have ingredient. That ingredient is free WiFi.

That is according to a recent survey carried out for MyPlace Connect. It revealed that a staggering 90% of customers expect free WiFi, and that they will vote with their feet between locations with free WiFi and those without. 67% said they have chosen one of their destinations based on whether or not it offered a free WiFi service.
