Donohoe 'shares community's disappointment' at Stena Line decision to withdraw

The Transport Minster Paschal Donohoe has said he shares the disappointment of Dun Laoghaire after Stena Line ended ferry services at the South Dublin port.

The ferry company had previously cut the service to and from Holyhead to a seasonal one. It said it would continue services into Dublin Port.

Minister Paschal Donoghue, who said he worked in Stena Line in Dun Laoighaire for two summers, has been quizzed about the decision in the Dáil.

"This will come as a very big disappointment to everybody in Dun Laoghaire Harbour and the wider community," he said.
