International finance expert Edward Kane to address banking inquiry

An international finance expert is addressing the Oireachtas Banking Inquiry today.

Professor of finance at Boston College Dr Edward Kane consults for the World Bank.

His research includes financial crisis management, deposit insurance and causes and implications of financial change.

The inquiry is currently concentrating on banking policy, systems and practices.
