Laya announces cuts to health policies and two-year price freeze

Laya healthcare has launched three new schemes which will have their prices frozen for up to two years.

Prices for the 'Future Protect' products start at €495, will be available to anyone renewing or taking out new policies.

The health insurer has also announced price reductions of between 10-19% across 12 of its products, with reductions kicking in from January 1, 2015

The 'Future Protect' schemes will be available from December 31, 2014 to February 28, 2015, and are priced at:

Future Protect - €495.20

Future Protect Plus - €572.80

Future Protect Choice - €644.80
