50 new jobs at Irish engineering firm
Over 50 new jobs are being created in Cork and Dublin.
DPS Engineering is expanding its workforce by a total of 80, when jobs in mainland Europe are counted.
The firm which has been operating for 40 years, already employs 810 people. The new jobs are coming on stream following an increase in turnover of 35% in the last three years. It projects a turnover of €75m this year.
"Based on significant recent wins in mainland Europe focused on advanced technology, we expect to be employing 900 people by the end of 2015,"said Frank Keogh, the firm's managing director.
The company has its headquarters in Ireland, with offices in Dublin and Cork, and also has a presence in Saudi Arabia, the Netherlands, Israel, Singapore, the US, and Belgium.
