Airline passengers throughout the EU are to be allowed to use their mobiles during a flight without having to put them into aeroplane mode.

Airline passengers throughout the EU are to be allowed to use their mobiles during a flight without having to put them into aeroplane mode.

The European Aviation Safety Agency said the use of tablets, laptops and phones will be at airlines' discretion from now on.
