Apple to introduce alerts to keep hackers out of user accounts

The boss of Apple has promised new measures to keep hackers out of users' accounts.

It comes after dozens of celebrities - including Jennifer Lawrence and Kirsten Dunst - had intimate photos stolen and posted online.

Chief executive Tim Cook has told a newspaper the extra steps will include alerts if someone tries to change a password or restore deleted items on the iCloud storage service.
