More than fifth of firms 'had cyber security breaches in past year'

Irish companies are being warned of the increasing risk of cyber security to their businesses.

It comes as a cyberspace conference on how to protect your data and privacy gets underway in Dublin this morning.

Research by AON Risk Solutions shows 22% of Irish companies have been subjected to data breaches in the last twelve months

It also finds two-thirds of firms here allow workers to access confidential company files through their own devices.
