Profit cheer for UTV

Radio and TV broadcaster UTV Media has reported a 62% jump in half-year profits.

The Belfast-based broadcaster said the rise to £10m (€12.5m) came on the back of the World Cup and economic recovery in the UK and Ireland. Revenues rose 13% to £57.8m (€72.5m).
