NUJ worried about merger of editorial staff at INM papers

The National Union of Journalists says it is gravely concerned over plans to merge The Herald and the Sunday World newspapers.

It was announced yesterday that the move is being made as part of a digital strategy by Independent News and Media and will result in a number of voluntary redundancies.
