Agency: Lots of people don't shop around for value

43% of consumers have switched at least one product or service within the last year, according to the National Consumer Agency.
The agency has published its latest research on switching behaviours and found that 80% of people have managed to make savings by shopping around.
Car insurance, electricity, gas, gym membership, groceries, home insurance, and internet provider, are the things people are most likely to switch from to get a better deal.
Fergal O' Leary, Director of Consumer Contacts and Insights with The National Consumer Agency, says a lot of people still are not shopping around.
