Conroy Gold appoints project manager to Monaghan mine
Conroy Gold has appointed a project manager to oversee a gold mine in Co Monaghan.
Michael Brennan has over 25 years experience in the mining industry and has previously worked as a consultant on the planned project.
He started his career as an exploration geologist with De Beers an has since worked on diamond, gold and base metal projects throughout Africa and Europe.
Conroy Gold’s exploration has found a mine extending to an estimated 50 kilometres across counties Monaghan, Cavan and Armagh.
Professor Richard Conroy, Chairman, commented: “I am delighted that Michael Brennan, with his extensive experience in the mining industry, and in particular in the development of mining projects, has been appointed project manager to develop and bring into production the Clontibret Gold Project, which is expected to be the Company’s first operational gold mine.”
