Nine banking experts to advise banking inquiry for free

The banking inquiry has confirmed a list of banking experts who have agreed to offer their advice for free.

The panel of nine includes economist Colm McCarthy and well-known analyst Megan Greene, as well as a range of other academics and senior civil servants.

The group will help the inquiry put together the exact list of what they want to investigate.

The group has arranged another four meetings to be held in the next fortnight, so that it can put forward a proposal for its terms of reference before the end of September.
