Quinn Business Retention Company, led by Fine Gael councillor John McCartin, has agreed in principle to buy some of the Quinn Group’s manufacturing operations.

The companies being bought employ about 600 workers in the border region.

No price has been given for the takeover.

Finance for the deal is being provided by a British investment company called Endless.
