Calor invests $10m in Ireland, creating 13 new jobs

Calor is investing $10m in its operations across Ireland, leading to the creation of 13 new jobs.

The €10m investment is for a "growth investment programme" provided by its parent company, SHV energy, which is investing in sales, customer support, engineering, IT and marketing here over the next three years.

Welcoming the announcement, Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton, said the announcement by Calor "is a very welcome boost."

"This investment represents a vote of confidence in the domestic economy and will result in the creation of 13 jobs. I wish Calor every success with this project," he said.

Calor is a main supplier of LPG gas and currently employs over 250 staff in six locations.
