Migrant centre demands more support for domestic workers

The Migrant Rights Centre is calling on the Government to do more to support domestic workers.

Today marks International Domestic Workers Day and the third anniversary since the worldwide adoption of the ILO Domestic Workers Convention.

Fourteen countries have ratified it so far, making it binding.

The Migrant Right Centre claims that despite repeated promises from Government, they have yet to ratify this international convention into Irish law.
