Union reps called to meeting with Bausch and Lomb management today

Concerns have been expressed for the future of staff at Bausch and Lomb in Waterford.

Union reps have been called to a meeting at the company, which produces soft contact lenses and lens, at lunchtime.

It is feared that as many as 200 jobs could be cut and pay cuts of up to 20% could be proposed for remaining staff.
