Discount retailer Aldi has said it will ecruit 450 new employees in Ireland this year 2014 as part of a continued expansion.

Discount retailer Aldi has said it will ecruit 450 new employees in Ireland this year 2014 as part of a continued expansion.

“We expect to build further on the sustained growth we have achieved in the last few years, opening a further seven stores and hiring an additional 450 employees in 2014," said Niall O’Connor, Managing Director Aldi Mitchelstown Region,.

"We are seeking motivated, enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join the Aldi team and contribute to our continued success.

Opportunities are now available at Aldi for Area Manager, Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager and Store Assistant positions.

“We are looking for outstanding candidates, born leaders possessing the drive and ambition to succeed in the demanding and fast-paced grocery retail environment," Mr O'Connor added.

Aldi currently employs around 2,400 people in Ireland.
