RBS has said its troubled Ulster Bank subsidiary reported its first quarterly operating profit since 2009.

It earned £17m (€20.71m) in the period, compared with a £164m (€199.81m) loss in the same quarter last year and a £996m () loss in the fourth quarter of 2013.
