Bitbuzz sees record-breaking figures for St Patrick's weekend

Wi-Fi network operator, Bitbuzz, broke all previous records for logins over the four days from Friday 14 to Monday, 17 March.

On Sunday, 16 March, the Irish Wi-Fi operator recorded 43,893 logins, the company’s busiest day on record.

In the seven days ending on St. Patrick’s Day, the company had more than 250,000 logins, also representing its busiest ever week.

Prior to this, the previous biggest day was on 8 August last year at the height of the holiday season and The Gathering.

The new record set on 16th March shows a marked 87.36 % increase over that day, which was 23,426 logins.

Bitbuzz last week installed its 500th hotspot at the Radisson Blu Hotel and Spa in Sligo town.
