10 counties see increase in planning applications

The house building sector is set to see growth from the next quarter, a new analysis suggests.

The finding comes in analysis from Link2Plans, the authors of the National Housing Construction Index.

Researchers have identified 10 counties where there has been an increase in planning applications which are likely to translate into building projects.

The 10 are: Dublin, Kildare, Wicklow, Tipperary, Monaghan, Louth, Longford, Cavan, Kilkenny and Clare
